Impossibile connettersi a PPTP VPN con ufw abilitato su Ubuntu 14.04 con kernel 3.18

All'improvviso la VPN è stata disconnessa e non è più possibile riconnettersi sul kernel 3.18.1, quindi cerco di installare il kernel 3.18.2 ma il mio problema esiste ancora. Ma posso facilmente connettermi a VPN con il kernel 3.14.

Il mio problema è stato risolto disabilitando ufw, potresti aiutarmi a risolvere questo conflitto di firewall e vpn?

-A ufw-before-input -p 47 -j ACCEPT
-A ufw-before-output -p 47 -j ACCEPT

Questo è causato da una modifica per motivi di sicurezza nel kernel 3.18 [1] . Ci sono due modi per risolvere questo problema.

Il primo approccio è l'aggiunta di questa regola al file /etc/ufw/before.rules prima della riga # drop INVALID packets ...

-A ufw-before-input -p 47 -j ACCEPT

Il secondo approccio è il caricamento manuale del modulo nf_conntrack_pptp . Puoi farlo eseguendo

sudo modprobe nf_conntrack_pptp

Per caricare questo modulo ad ogni avvio su Ubuntu, aggiungilo al file /etc/modules .

Per versioni più recenti di ufw una soluzione è invece:

sudo ufw allow proto gre from [PPTP gateway IP address]
sudo systemctl restart ufw

Aggiungi nf_conntrack_pptp a /etc/modules-load.d/pptp.conf

Un liner

echo nf_conntrack_pptp | sudo tee /etc/modules-load.d/pptp.conf

Spiegazione

La risposta accettata funziona per me, in particolare il secondo suggerimento - il caricamento del modulo del kernel nf_conntrack_pptp - invece della modifica del mio firewall iptables. Il mio firewall portatile non è altrimenti modificato. sudo ufw enable senza eccezioni è bello e pulito. Ma non mi piace modificare /etc/modules a mano ... gli aggiornamenti futuri del pacchetto potrebbero avere conflitti. /etc/modules-load.d/ fornisce un modo facile da aggiornare e più facilmente automatizzabile per caricare il modulo.
