Non riesco a ottenere i driver nVidia che funzionano con 16.04, si disconnette subito dopo l'accesso

Ho installato Ubuntu 16.04 beta 2 lunedì, 18 aprile. Quando provo ad installare nvidia-current, nvidia-361 o la versione che jockey installa, lightdm non si avvia completamente o non riesco a superare la finestra di login. Quando eseguo l'accesso, lightdm.log segnala che ho eseguito l'accesso correttamente, per alcuni motivi mostra il volume audio che ho impostato e quindi torna alla schermata di accesso.

Ho un laptop con grafica ibrida nVidia / Intel con la tecnologia Optimus (non ho davvero bisogno di passare alla GPU, ma voglio che nVidia funzioni correttamente), il modello esatto di nVidia è GT630M.

Per ora, sono bloccato con nouveau / Intel, che a volte è piuttosto limitante. Qualche idea su cosa può succedere? Forse il file /etc/X11/xorg.conf mancante potrebbe essere il problema, ma non so perché non ci sia.

Nota: A partire dalla release principale di 16.04, l'errore è cambiato da nessun dispositivo rilevato e nessuno schermo trovato a Impossibile inizializzare l'estensione GLX (Compatibile driver NVIDIA X non trovato ) . Ora, lightdm si avvia più facilmente, ma non riesco ancora a superare la schermata di accesso.

Ulteriore modifica: Avevo il boot sicuro disabilitato tutto il tempo. Ho installato bumblebee che ha aggiunto il driver nvidia (provato 304 e 340), ma non è stato in grado di avviare programmi utilizzando la scheda video nVidia. Un'indagine più approfondita ha dimostrato che modprobe per nvidia non funzionava a causa di qualcosa del genere:

could not insert 'nvidia': Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

Ho provato una versione successiva del driver (361), ma ha continuato a fallire. Ho letto da qualche parte che i driver i915 stavano causando questo problema, ma non li avevo installati.

Altre informazioni: Questa sembra essere la causa principale. Con il driver nVidia installato insieme al suo modulo DKMS, non potevo inserirlo nel kernel (usando modprobe). L'errore segnalato è che non riesce a trovare una porta PCI specifica (quella in cui dovrebbe essere in base a lspci). Non ho salvato la dicitura esatta, mi dispiace per quello.

Grazie allo sforzo collettivo della community, sono riuscito a farlo funzionare.

Per prima cosa, vai a un Terminale (premendo ctrl - alt - f1 se non riesci ad accedere o tramite la modalità di ripristino ). Installa i driver nVidia versione 364 (pacchetto nvidia-364).

sudo apt-get install nvidia-364

Se il pacchetto non viene trovato, aggiungi il ppa che lo contiene:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa
sudo apt-get update

Riavvia il computer.

sudo reboot -i NOW

Se non si viene riportati alla schermata di accesso, ma si vede solo lo sfondo, forzarlo a ricreare le impostazioni dell'utente (salvando un backup):

sudo mv ~/.config/dconf/user ~/.config/dconf/user.old

Quindi, riavvia lightdm:

sudo service lightdm restart

Se vuoi installare bumblebee, fai attenzione che la sua configurazione sarà impostata male e cercherà nvidia-current anche se nvidia-current non è installato. L'ho modificato per fare riferimento a nvidia-364 (perché i file installati sono in / usr / lib / nvidia-364) e sono stato in grado di avviare programmi con optirun.

Non sto vedendo il ciclo di avvio descritto, ma stavo ottenendo basse risoluzioni (800x600) e non avrebbe funzionato affatto - ma il nuovo nouveau andava bene. (tutto tramite il gui del driver)

Finalmente sono passato alla riga di comando e ho installato lo stesso pacchetto tramite "sudo apt-get install nvidia-xxx (nel mio caso era 361 - anche provato 352)

è stato quindi installato come di consueto, ma nel terminale è spuntato un menu che indicava che il boot sicuro "UEFI" era abilitato e dovresti inserire una password unica per disattivarlo al riavvio "per avviare la modalità non protetta. L'ho fatto.

Fatto questo, al riavvio - abbastanza sicuro è apparso un menu della finestra UEFI e ho scelto di cambiare la modalità di avvio in insicurezza. Poi mi ha chiesto diversi caratteri "per posizione" (EG ... digitare il carattere 6, quindi digitare il carattere 4, ecc.) Seguito da immettere ogni volta. Alla fine, dopo 3-4 caratteri, mi ha permesso di disattivare l'avvio sicuro. Quindi la macchina si riavviò di nuovo e disse "avvio della modalità non sicura" e quindi i driver funzionarono.

Scoperto anche durante l'installazione di virtualbox anche tramite synaptic, ma almeno ha funzionato e visualizzato un menu usando quel metodo ....

Come posso riavere il mio desktop?

Premendo ctrl - alt - f1 dalla schermata di accesso, puoi andare su una riga di comando. Accedi usando il tuo nome utente e password. Da questa riga di comando, è possibile disinstallare i driver nvidia eseguendo i seguenti comandi:

sudo apt remove nvidia-361
sudo apt autoremove

Si noti che la versione specifica di nvidia potrebbe essere diversa. Puoi scoprire la versione del driver nvidia installato eseguendo apt search nvidia | grep installed | grep nvidia

o se vuoi semplicemente passare alla scheda grafica Intel senza rimuovere il driver nvidia, esegui

Disabilita avvio sicuro

Come dice @biff, Secure Boot potrebbe bloccare il caricamento del driver nvidia. Per disabilitare l'avvio sicuro, installa il driver nvidia utilizzando la riga di comando . Ubuntu ti chiederà di disabilitare l'avvio sicuro durante l'installazione.

Installa il vecchio driver nvidia

Ho lo stesso problema. Esecuzione di Ubuntu 16.04. Intel HD4600 e Nvidia 765M. Ho provato tutti i suggerimenti sopra. Ha funzionato durante l'installazione utilizzando il terminale, ma se uso più monitor, si blocca e finisco in un ciclo di avvio.

Ho letto qualcuno che suggerisce che il driver beta 364xx funzioni.

Nel mio caso, l'installazione di nvidia-364 ha risolto il problema. La mia configurazione è NVidia GTX 750Ti su ASUS H170 + Intel i7 6700 + 32Gb DDR4 con Ubuntu 16.04.

Ho una GTX980 e non sono riuscito ad accedere dopo l'aggiornamento alla 16.04 (dal 15.10). Rimuovi nvidia:

sudo apt-get purge nvidia*

ed effettuato l'accesso. Funzionava ma la risoluzione era limitata a 800x600.

I seguenti passaggi hanno risolto il mio problema:

  1. Reinstalla nvidia: sudo apt-get install nvidia-361
  2. Riavvia, accedi al BIOS e disabilita Avvio protetto
