Consigli per un emulatore di Colecovision?

Sto cercando un emulatore per colecovision - una console di home games dei primi anni '80.

Ne ho trovati due:

  1. ColEM, che inizia ma sembra non caricare le cartucce
  2. AdamEM, compilato ma non funzionante (non inizia, dicendo che "Sono supportate solo le modalità di visualizzazione di 8,16,32 bpp di X. Ho impostato su 16 tramite il pannello di Nvidia).

Ci sono altri emulatori amichevoli?

(xmess è troppo disordinato per la mia pazienza e preferirei un emulatore specifico)

Quando provo ad avviare l'emulatore (./adamem o ./cvem) si lamenta con:

Initialising Unix/X drivers...

Per me i binari di ubuntu dal sito di download di ColEm funzionano bene - tuttavia è necessario utilizzare un trucco per farlo funzionare correttamente. Inoltre ho trovato alcune fantastiche retro ROM che funzionano perfettamente con questo emulatore.

Pochi passi da seguire:

  1. Scarica l'emulatore di ColEm
  2. Estrai i file in una sottocartella, ad esempio ~/Downloads/colem
  3. Scarica alcune ROM compatibili e decomprimile nella cartella colem sopra
  4. Assicurati di aver installato le utilità pulseaudio:

sudo apt-get install pulseaudio-utils

Ora per avviare l'emulatore con una particolare rom si usa la sintassi

padsp ./colem32 <rom name>

ad esempio: padsp ./colem32 Galaxian.rom
