Impossibile cambiare la risoluzione: "xrandr: Configure crtc 0 failed"

Mi collego a un host Ubuntu usando TeamViewer. La sua risoluzione è attualmente 800x600 . Vorrei cambiare la sua risoluzione in 1024x768 , ma ottengo questo errore:

xrandr: Configure crtc 0 failed

Il comando era:

xrandr --output Virtual1 --mode 1024x768

Ho cercato una soluzione, ma non ne ho trovato nessuno.

Sembra che sia supportata la risoluzione 1024x768 . Perché non è disponibile?

Ho provato anche arandr , ma dà lo stesso errore.

Anche le altre risoluzioni non funzionano, solo 800x600

Se eseguo xrandr --fb 1024x768 , viene sottoposto a pixelerated e alcune parti non si adattano allo schermo.
