Cercando di installare Postgres 9.3 in una versione non LTS di Ubuntu, come posso andare?

Sto cercando di installare Postgres 9.3 con le istruzioni qui . Ma l'installazione non funziona.

Ho anche provato a mettere queste righe in /etc/apt/sources.list. Ma neanche questo funziona.

Abbiamo scelto di supportare solo le versioni LTS (a lungo termine) di   Ubuntu perché altrimenti avremmo bisogno di supportare troppe distribuzioni   in parallelo. In generale, è possibile utilizzare i pacchetti dalla versione LTS   che precede il tuo rilascio, ad esempio su raring (13.04), che useresti   precise-pgdg (12.04).

     

Esiste un'incompatibilità nota tra la 12.04 e le versioni successive   coinvolgendo il pacchetto "logrotate". Possibili soluzioni alternative sono:

     
  • usa il pacchetto logrotate da preciso, o
  •   
  • disinstallare logrotate.
  •   

Stiamo cercando di fornire una soluzione migliore per questo problema.
